NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE
LITTLE COMPTON HOME RULE CHARTER
TO APPEAR ON THE BALLOT FOR
NOVEMBER 8, 2022 – GENERAL ELECTION
A public hearing will be held on October 20, 2022 at 7 PM in the Town Hall, Town Council Chambers, 40 Commons, Little Compton to review fifteen (15) proposed amendments to the Little Compton Home Rule Charter. The proposed amendments will be voted on by the electorate on November 8, 2022 and were advertised on October 6 2022 in their entirety.
The Home Rule Charter and the full text of the proposed amendments are available for review during normal business hours at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 40 Commons, Little Compton, RI and at the Brownell Library, 44 Commons, Little Compton, RI. and can be found on the Town website www.littlecomptonri.org
All persons interested in the above are respectfully requested to be present at the time and place to be herd thereon. Facilities are accessible for people with disabilities.
If you are in need of interpreter services for the hearing impaired, please contact the Town Clerk (635-4400) not less than 72 hours in advance of the hearing date.
