Hazard Mitigation Survey - offer your comments relating to storm readiness

The Town is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan by collecting your comments/concerns regarding storms and natural hazards. We encourage you to participate in a survey by following the link below and taking a 2 minute survey. We are gathering data on your past experience and/or concerns as they relate to storms.
In order to be better prepared we need to know if you have existing problems in your part of town such as stormwater flooding or known wind problems. Please be open and honest and offer comments as you feel led. The more data we gather the better our Hazard Mitigation plan will be for our town. The survey may be taken via the link below, or by completing a survey form and dropping off to the Office of the Town Clerk.

Two (2) Public Hearings will be held to offer additional opportunity for you to voice your concerns. We will post notices of the hearings as the dates get closer on both the town website and the Sakonnet Times.
